As CAD Designer: Created dielines and working samples for customer approval. Put together layouts for estimating to ensure efficient use of paper and other resources. Created concepts for our clients for new products, cartons, boots, pop-up displays. Ordered dies based on the layouts and handled bids for several vendors. Output vinyl drawings/SBS samples for our press use using a plotter. Served as backup in our plating and prepress departments.
As Graphic Designer: Responsible for prepress functions related to incoming digital files for commercial printing. Prepared documents to ensure high quality results for lithographic and flexographic presses. Prepared proofs for press approval. Maintained accurate records and backups.
